Police investigating suspicious Tarrawanna Fire

Firefighters have responded to a blaze off Hawthorn Street at Tarrawanna shortly after 7 this morning.

Crew arrived on scene to see a number of small fires in the area, none of them are threatening homes at this stage.

Crews from the RFS and Fire & Rescue NSW are in the process of controlling and extinguishing those fires.

James Morris from the RFS says police are also on scene.

“Police have been called in due to the suspicious nature of these fires,” Mr Morris said.

“Anyone who may have been in the area or may have any information as to the cause of the fire should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
